1. underscores

It's no secret we're big underscores fans over here.

Few artists make music that feels as exciting and unpredictable as underscores. Every song seems to exist in its own universe, pulling from hyperpop, dubstep, and Midwest emo without ever feeling like a patchwork of influences. Instead, it all clicks into something unmistakably their own, contrasting maximalist production with deeply personal songwriting.

Live, that energy only gets amplified. Expect a set that's loud, cathartic, and completely unpredictable, with a crowd screaming every word back.

If you've somehow missed the underscores train until now, HARD Summer is the perfect place to hop on.

2. Snow Strippers

Snow Strippers have quietly become one of the most influential names in underground electronic music.

Pulling from trance, electroclash, Y2K club culture, and dreamlike pop melodies, the duo has built a sound that's nostalgic without feeling like a throwback. Their live shows lean less like concerts and more like warehouse parties that somehow ended up on a festival stage.

With one of the fastest-growing fanbases in alternative music, this is one of those sets where the crowd will become a part of the performance.

3. Frost Children

If there's one act on the lineup that feels like they're shaping where alternative music is headed next, it's Frost Children.

The sibling duo has become just as influential for their internet-born aesthetic and creative world as they have for their music. Equal parts cyber-pop stars, underground fashion icons, and festival chaos agents, everything they touch feels unmistakably them.

Musically, they're impossible to pin down. Dance music, hyperpop, punk, rock, trance, rave... the genres collide into something euphoric, emotionally charged, and entirely their own.

They're one of those rare artists where the music, visuals, and creative direction all move in lockstep, making every performance feel like a fully realized artistic statement.

4. 2hollis

Few artists have generated as much buzz over the past year as 2hollis, and for once, the hype feels completely justified.

His music is only part of the story. 2hollis builds entire worlds around his project, and fans don't just listen, they step inside them. Whether it's through cryptic visuals, intimate online interactions, or the mythology that surrounds each release, he's created one of the strongest artist-to-fan communities in underground music right now.

Watching the 2hollis crowd will feel less like watching fans and more like watching people who've been invited into something bigger.

5. Shygirl

We'll admit it... we have a bit of a crush on Shygirl.

There's a reason she's become one of the most exciting voices in modern club music. Pulling from UK club, rap, house, dancehall, and experimental electronic sounds, Shygirl makes music that's confident, seductive, and impossible not to move to. We've had Club Shy on repeat ever since it dropped, and if it's any indication of what she'll bring to HARD, expect one of the best dance sets of the weekend.

Onstage, she has an effortless magnetism that makes it impossible to look away. Whether she's delivering razor-sharp verses or commanding an entire festival crowd, Shygirl doesn't just perform, she owns the room.
